First look at Netflix's Little House on the Prairie: meet the new Ingalls and the cast reinventing a classic
Frontier nostalgia gets a fresh start—meet every actor and character in Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie reboot.
Netflix finally pushed the wagon out of the barn: the new Little House on the Prairie just dropped a trailer, and yes, it looks like the books came to life. This is a fresh TV take on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s classics, not a remake of the Michael Landon show beat-for-beat, but it’s playing in the same sandbox. The trailer leans into sunlit fields, hard-won homesteads, and family grit, and the cast is very much the hook.
When it lands, and what Netflix is selling
"Premieres July 9 on Netflix."
Netflix is pitching this as a sweeping look at the hardships and small wins of the folks who built out the frontier, straight from Wilder’s semi-autobiographical books. If you’re wondering why the cast looks familiar, you’re not alone—social feeds are already doing the who’s-who detective work.
