Erin Bates tackles plastic-surgery rumors head-on, revealing in a recent YouTube Q&A whether she’s ever gone under the knife as fans flood her with questions about skincare, Botox and fillers.

Erin Bates is not here for the Botox rumors. The 34-year-old influencer hopped on YouTube earlier this month to answer fan questions and, predictably, it turned into a cosmetic-procedure inquisition. If you were guessing she quietly hopped on the injectable train, she says nope.

"For now, no, I don't use Botox or fillers."

How we got here

During the Q&A, Bates said fans bombarded her with everything skin-related — skincare, Botox, fillers, even a few terms she admitted she hadn't heard before. She also owned up to being extremely squeamish about needles. And she tossed out a take that will definitely stir debate: based on what she's read, she believes Botox and fillers are toxic to the body. That belief, plus what she calls a broader health journey, is why she's keeping her routine as natural as possible.

Yes, she has a skincare brand — and it started as DIY

Bates co-runs a line called Chad + Erin, which grew out of her own kitchen experiments years ago. She said she started digging into skincare research, gravitated toward natural remedies and organic oils, and began making her own formulas because the products she wanted were too pricey. Now she's teasing a follow-up video that will walk through her full routine start to finish, including how she does lymphatic drainage — basically a soup-to-nuts skincare demo.

What she actually uses (and why her skin looks dewy)

Her pitch is pretty simple: keep pores clear, keep it non-invasive. She says her products are formulated to be very low on the comedogenic scale so they won't clog pores, which she credits for that youthful glow. Personally, she sticks to tallow-based moisturizers. Right now she's using their Pure Glow because she deals with some redness and is prone to breakouts. She'll also mix in Rose Luxe — the line's most premium tallow — when she wants something richer for mature or very dry skin, calling it very nutritious. And on the makeup side, she swapped powder for cream formulas to lock in that dewy finish.
