This is a show that has been positioned as a worthy replacement for Succession. Unfortunately, it can hardly be called that, as it only holds a 46% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the series is still a valuable addition to the Netflix library.

A Man in Full delves into the underbelly of Atlanta's high society, which is filled with layers of corruption, greed, cynicism, class and race warfare. The series stars Jeff Daniels, Diane Lane, Tom Pelphrey, Aml Ameen, Chanté Adams, Jon Michael Hill, Sarah Jones, William Jackson Harper and Lucy Liu.

Unfrosted is a new project from stand-up and sitcom legend Jerry Seinfeld, who is making his feature-length directorial debut. The new film is a semi-biographical comedy based on the rivalry between Kellogg's and Post in the early 1960s, when the former attempted to revolutionize the cereal market with a new product they called Pop-Tarts.

Directed by Brad Peyton of the excellent, albeit canceled, Netflix series Daybreak, the film explores the deep bond between a data analyst and a rogue AI mech suit bent on destroying humanity. In addition to J.Lo, the film also stars Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown and Mark Strong.

2. My Oni Girl

Tomotaka Shibayama first rose to prominence as a cel painter at Studio Ghibli, and after he left the studio, he worked as a key animator on The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Hellsing, Blue Exorcist, and other popular anime shows. In 2020, Netflix released the critically acclaimed A Whisker Away, which Shibayama co-directed with Junichi Sato.

And in just four days, the animator's first solo project, the fantasy film My Oni Girl, will be released on the service. The new anime revolves around a high school student who befriends an oni (demon) and embarks on a quest to find her mother.

Particularly given that the father is portrayed by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch!
