Earlier in House of the Dragon Season 3, Episode 7, Lady Jeyne Arryn even slipped in a wink to readers, mentioning rumors of a wild girl in the mountains “among nettles and sheep.” Nettles herself never appears — because in the series, Rhaena has taken her place.

That swap reshapes one of Fire & Blood’s most watched-for threads. Instead of introducing the lowborn dragonseed Nettles, the show merges her function with Rhaena’s arc, keeping the drama inside the Targaryen family.
