LeAnn Rimes isn’t faking it — and she’s done letting trolls say otherwise. After her deep jaw release video went viral, the singer pushed back in an April 18 livestream with Human Garage founder Garry Lineham, calling out claims her on-camera tears were staged.

LeAnn Rimes is not here for the conspiracy theories about her jaw video. Yes, there was a camera. No, she says she didn’t fake-cry for clout.

So, what actually happened in that clip?

On March 29, the wellness outfit Human Garage posted a video of Rimes getting what they call a deep jaw release — basically fascial work where practitioner Garry Lineham puts gloved fingers inside your mouth and presses specific points to release tension. It looks intense because, well, it is.

About a minute in, Rimes started crying. Lineham said that was the sign her jaw had slid back into alignment, and he nudged her to mark the moment as a turning point. She half-joked that it had better be.

Rimes addresses the blowback

Fast-forward to Saturday, April 18: Rimes, 43, jumped on a livestream with Human Garage founder Garry Lineham to swat down the folks claiming the whole thing was staged. She said the emotion was real — a raw release after dealing with ongoing pain — and added that the last decade of her life has been about dropping the pretense and being straight with people.

'I can act, but I am not that good. I am not that good. I’m not Meryl Streep.'

Brandi Glanville had thoughts, of course

On an April episode of her podcast 'Unfiltered,' Brandi Glanville, 53 — who was married to Eddie Cibrian before his affair with Rimes, and he later married Rimes in 2011 — called the footage 'weird.' She said she’s had the same procedure, it’s very painful, and she doesn’t get why you’d share it. She did add that she hopes Rimes feels better and left it at that.

Rimes has been unusually open about her health lately

Back in January, she talked about dropping $10,000 on a plasma exchange meant to clear out micro-toxins, followed by stem cells to encourage overall repair. She framed it as her own trial-and-error, not medical advice: she likes sharing to answer people’s questions and keep the conversation going, but she’s also clear that access to these treatments isn’t universal and she’s not telling anyone what to do.

  • January: Rimes does a $10,000 plasma exchange, then stem cells, aiming to clear micro-toxins and boost repair.
  • March 29: Human Garage posts the deep jaw release video; Lineham works inside her mouth on pressure points; after ~60 seconds she cries as her jaw resets, per him.
  • Early April: Brandi Glanville calls the video 'weird' on her podcast, says the procedure is painful, wishes Rimes well.
  • April 18: On a livestream with Human Garage’s Garry Lineham, Rimes says the tears were real and pushes back on the 'staged' chatter.

The bottom line

Rimes says the tears were genuine, the relief was real, and she’s choosing transparency even when it’s not pretty. You may not want your chiropractor visit on camera, but she clearly does — and she knows exactly what kind of reaction that invites.
