Brandi Glanville isn’t buying the hype. After LeAnn Rimes shared a tearful video about her jaw release treatment, Glanville used the April 2 episode of her Unfiltered podcast to question why it was headline-worthy — and noted she’s had the same procedure herself.

LeAnn Rimes posted a very up-close, very emotional video of a jaw release session. Brandi Glanville saw it and basically went: wait, why are we watching this?

What set Brandi off

On the Thursday, April 2 episode of her podcast 'Unfiltered,' Brandi, 53, brought up Rimes' latest wellness share. She said she has dealt with TMJ for years and has had that exact kind of work done more times than she can count. For anyone lucky enough not to know: TMJ disorders mess with the joints that move your jaw and can trigger pain, headaches, and chewing weirdness.

Brandi broke down the treatment in plain terms: gloves on, hands go inside your mouth, it hurts, and you try not to bite the practitioner. She says she just has a high pain tolerance. Her cohost James Maas noted Rimes looked genuinely relieved at the end of the clip.

'I just don't know why you share that. I hope she feels better, and yeah, that was that on that.'

What Rimes actually posted

Rimes, 43, had what her practitioner called a 'deep jaw release' late last month. The video came from Human Garage, the wellness outfit working on her. Their caption framed the whole thing as a physical and emotional unwinding: they say the jaw tends to stockpile stress, the fascia in your face and neck can tense up to protect you, and specific maneuvers are meant to tell your nervous system it is safe to let go. In their words, you could see the exact instant her body released tension and she looked lighter and more aligned.

The history here (because of course there is)

Brandi was married to Eddie Cibrian from 2001 to 2009. Eddie is now married to Rimes. So, yes, complicated. To be fair, Brandi has also acknowledged that Rimes has tried to help her health-wise. Brandi has dealt with a long run of issues — including what she has described as a parasite infection and a ruptured breast implant she says badly affected her face — and she actually thanked Rimes for trying to help with the parasite situation.

Back in April 2024, Brandi said Rimes had once told her, 'You need a breath coach.' It took a while to click, but she followed through: she bought a book on breathing, hired a wellness coach, and says she can now talk herself down from a panic attack. She is still doing cosmetic fixes, but she has also changed up her routine with better food, actual exercise, and the breathing work.

Where Brandi is at now

In November 2025, Brandi told Us Weekly the recovery has been slow, but she is finally getting back to her normal rhythm. Moving houses helped, too — a new place, a reset, and a quieter setup so she can keep things simple, stay home more, and just take care of herself. She says the whole saga took more than two years and cost thousands before she got a real diagnosis and a solution.

Rimes' wellness lane is... busy

Along with the jaw work, Rimes has also publicized pricier bio-hacking-adjacent stuff — like a $10,000 treatment she said was meant to clear 'micro-toxins' from her body. So sharing her health journey is kind of her thing, which is probably why Human Garage posted the jaw release and why Rimes let it roll.

The quick timeline

  • Late last month: Rimes undergoes a 'deep jaw release' and Human Garage shares the video.
  • Thursday, April 2: On 'Unfiltered,' Brandi says she has had that painful intraoral work many times for TMJ and wonders why the video needed to be posted.
  • April 2024: Brandi credits Rimes for the 'breath coach' tip; she starts breathing work and hires a wellness coach.
  • November 2025: Brandi says she is finally feeling like herself again after years of health issues, a move to a new home, and a full reset.

My read: sharing bodywork that involves fingers in your mouth is not for everyone, but Rimes has built a whole transparency brand around her health stuff. Brandi's done the same in her own way — just with a little more side-eye.
