Before season 2 wraps: Off-Campus puts season 3 back on the books
If you thought Off Campus was done wrecking hearts, think again—its next wave of romantic chaos is already on deck.
Prime Video says Off Campus didn’t just arrive — it exploded, pulling in 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days. That makes it the streamer’s third-biggest series launch ever and its top debut among women 18–34, outpacing early numbers for The Boys, Reacher and The Summer I Turned Pretty.
36 million viewers in 12 days — Prime Video’s third-biggest series launch ever.
On the heels of that surge, Season 3 is already moving into early development while Season 2 is still on set, according to Jeff Sneider’s InSneider. The report says Amazon has begun approaching writers, a quick green light that keeps the campus romance train rolling.
Season 2 on set
Filming on Season 2 began June 1, 2026 , with production based at North Shore Studios and around Vancouver. The University of British Columbia is doubling as Briar University, and the shoot is slated to wrap by mid-September.
Prime Video is targeting an early 2027 release in the U.S., setting up a short turnaround from the current production window.
Where the story heads next
The next two chapters lean into new couples and the mess that comes with mixing hockey schedules, friendships and big feelings:
- Season 2 — Dean Di Laurentis & Allie Hayes: a “no strings” setup that runs straight into inconvenient feelings, career jitters and emotional turbulence.
- Season 3 — John Logan & Grace Ivers: romantic missteps wrapped in pressure from friendships, family expectations and Logan’s hockey future, with Grace caught in the fallout.
With Season 2 still filming and Season 3 moving forward in development, Off Campus is locked in for more Briar U drama — and Season 2 is expected to hit Prime Video in early 2027.
