The thing is, Bobby actually answered the question — on his own Facebook, back in June 2014, in a post that opened with a direct shot at the rumor mill:
"You've heard the answer from everyone except me!"
He later went further in a tell-all video covering his early life, his marriages, and the real reason for the exit: he left on his own terms to focus on his personal life and stop being "the TV guy." No firing, no scandal. As he put it in the statement quoted by PeepsVista: "I take no grudge against anyone." Devastating for the drama economy, but there it is.
