Tom Sandoval Reveals If West Wilson Should Join House of Villains After the Drama
Tom Sandoval wades into West Wilson’s scandal, weighing whether the Summer House star belongs on House of Villains, even as he admits he hasn’t followed the Amanda Batula drama, and teasing who else he’d recruit for the chaos.
Tom Sandoval has thoughts about West Wilson joining House of Villains, even if he is not exactly up to speed on West and Amanda Batula right now. Classic Tom answer: he has not really followed the Summer House romance drama, but he can still see West fitting right in on a future season.
So, would West Wilson work on House of Villains?
Sandoval, 42, told Us Weekly during a joint exit interview with Tyson Apostol that the show rewards people who know how to play reality TV. He pointed to The Traitors as an example and said West, 31, would have as good a shot as anyone if there is a season 4. Translation: if you can hold your own on camera, you will probably survive in the chaos.

Where Tom is at post-Scandoval
Sandoval joined House of Villains in season 3 after the very public fallout from his affair with Rachel Raquel Leviss while he was with Ariana Madix. He says he has turned the page and hopes everyone else has too. In his words:
'I have mentally moved on with my life and I am focusing on all the positive things. I have some stuff coming up that I am really excited about that I can not talk about, but I can not help what people think. All I can do is just live my life and move forward.'
Enter Tyson Apostol, unlikely wingman
House of Villains also gave Tom a surprising ally: Survivor alum Tyson Apostol, 46. Tyson joked that he has never been the villain and has always been the hero to his own fanbase, which is exactly the kind of dry flex you expect from him. He admitted he came in with opinions after seeing Tom on The Traitors, but ended up appreciating that Sandoval will try pretty much anything on TV. Example: Tom was apparently the only cast member who even attempted to sing a song backward during a challenge. Tyson is big on having fun on these shows, and while some personalities made that tough at times, he called Tom his rock of fun. Their plan when the house got too intense: escape to their room and shut the door.
Tom on doing the show at all
Sandoval says the whole experience was better than he expected and honestly just a blast. He had reservations about the title House of Villains for obvious reasons, but once he got there he felt like the cast was more nuanced than the branding implies. He is stoked about the season they made and the friendships that came out of it, Tyson included.
