Stagecoach Drama: Steven McBee Jr. Accuses Girlfriend Allie Eklund of Cheating
Stagecoach scandal: The McBee Dynasty star Steven McBee Jr. accuses girlfriend Allie Eklund of cheating, alleging hand-holding, grinding and a drunken stupor at an afterparty in a Monday Instagram video.
Stagecoach delivered more than dust and denim this year. Steven McBee Jr. from Bravo's The McBee Dynasty says his girlfriend, Allie Eklund, cheated on him during the festival. She says that did not happen. It is messy, fast, and very reality TV.
What McBee says happened
In an Instagram video posted Monday, April 27, McBee, 33, told followers he woke up to random DMs, phone calls, and videos of Eklund, 29, getting close to another man at Stagecoach in Indio, California. He said he still does not know the full story, but he was told there was hand holding, grinding, dancing, and a very drunk afterparty situation. He also contrasted his Monday morning at the gym with what he says she was up to at an afterparty.
- Weekend: They attend Stagecoach together.
- He says he left early and hit the gym Monday morning.
- Monday, April 27: He posts an Instagram video saying he woke up to DMs, calls, and videos of Eklund getting close to a guy at an afterparty.
- Later that day: In a separate video, he implies the relationship is done, noting he was literally with her about 12 hours earlier.
- Eklund responds on her own, denying the cheating allegations in a social media post.
Where he says they stand now
McBee pretty much called it over. He kept it measured and avoided dragging her, even as he laid out why this blindsided him. He described Eklund as a good person who has been upbeat and supportive. He also admitted he is not exactly a low-maintenance boyfriend: he called himself extreme type A, owned up to mood swings, and said he is stressed given everything else going on in his life.
That last part is not just talk. His dad is currently serving a 24-month federal sentence after pleading guilty in 2024 to crop insurance fraud. So yes, there is a lot happening off camera too.
Different lanes, same couple
McBee framed some of this as a lifestyle mismatch. He says he hates festivals and traveling, loves his family and his farm, and was nervous to leave early from Stagecoach. In his telling, Eklund is not ready to settle down and is more into festivals, concerts, and trips. He also tossed out a sharper line about her needing constant attention and said he thought there was loyalty there. Spicy, and very reality-TV specific.
How the Bravo crowd reacted
After his posts, a few Bravo friends jumped in with support. Summer House's Kyle Cooke basically told him that being in the public eye is rough and emotions can take over, and encouraged him to keep moving forward. The Valley's Kristen Doute sent love and echoed the onward-and-upward message. Translation: public breakup, public pep talks.
So, now what?
McBee says he is getting back to work and gearing up for a new season of The McBee Dynasty. He closed out on an upbeat note:
'I got a damn good dog. I got a damn good family. I got a damn good life.'
