Prime Video Just Released Season 3 of Its Biggest Crime Hit – It Already Has 97% on RT

The biggest man on modern TV is back.
Amazon Prime Video has released the first three episodes of Reacher Season 3, and it looks like the show's creators have finally figured out why viewers love the show.
The big guy with the impeccable moral compass once again finds himself in the middle of a criminal conspiracy. This time there's undercover work, an old enemy who should have stayed in his grave, and the giant Paulie.
What Is Reacher Season 3 About?
Reacher once again finds himself in the line of fire when he accidentally meets his sworn enemy, Quinn, who should not be alive. Many years ago, while serving in the military police, Reacher had to deal with Quinn.
Who is he – a ghost or a double? How this is possible will be revealed later.
The FBI approached the main character to offer him a difficult undercover job in the Zachary Beck gang. The main task is to rescue the infiltrated agent, Reacher's personal reward is the capture of Quinn.
Quite feasible conditions for someone who can deal with anyone. The only serious obstacle is the big man Paulie. Staying alive, not revealing himself, saving the girl, killing a few bad guys and punishing the main antagonist is a common thing.
Reacher Is as Gripping and Impressive as It Gets in the TV Format
The series does not go beyond the TV framework, although many modern shows for streaming can be as high-budget as blockbusters. And with all this, the script follows the original source.
Only a few details have been changed due to the different time period: The book Persuader was published in 2003, when digital technologies were just starting to take off. Back then, Reacher could easily do without a phone, but now the lack of gadgets on the screen has become much more difficult to explain.
Reacher Season 3 Returns to Its Roots
In its third season, Reacher remains true to itself. Instead of complex moral dilemmas or philosophical subtexts, viewers get a standard action show about a man without fear – and, it seems, that is exactly what viewers expected from it.
Is the project in danger of becoming a hostage to its own success? But as Reacher breaks the ribs of his enemies to the applause of the audience, it is clearly too early to worry.
Thanks to the original source, the series can go on until Alan Ritchson retires, because in the books, as in life, the main character ages, but keeps going. And who will eventually age faster: Reacher or the audience?
