We tallied the runtime of every Reacher season 4 episode—so you don’t have to.

Fans going into Reacher Season 4 don’t have to guess how long they’ll be parked on the couch each week. The new run spans eight episodes, starts Wednesday, August 12, 2026 , and—based on the current plan—Prime Video is expected to launch with the first three episodes together before moving to one episode every Wednesday after that. The season is slated to wrap on September 16, 2026.

Season 4 premieres August 12 with an expected three-episode drop; the finale lands September 16.

Per screeners, here are the runtimes for each episode in Season 4:

  • Episode 1 — 44 minutes
  • Episode 2 — 47 minutes
  • Episode 3 — 42 minutes
  • Episode 4 — 42 minutes
  • Episode 5 — 45 minutes
  • Episode 6 — 39 minutes
  • Episode 7 — 41 minutes
  • Episode 8 — 56 minutes

The new season is expected to adapt Lee Child’s 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow, with the show continuing to tweak the source material as it goes. For context, earlier seasons drew from Killing Floor (1997), Bad Luck and Trouble (2007) and Persuader (2003).

What’s different this time

Several characters from the book are getting new names in the series, and there’s at least one fresh face in the mix:

  • Theresa Lee (book) — now Tamara Green (a local cop who works with Reacher)
  • Susan Mark — now Susan Merrick
  • Jacob Mark — now Jacob Merrick (another cop who teams with Reacher)
  • Svetlana Hoth — now Amisha Hoth
  • New character: Russell Plum (played by Kevin Weisman), a freelance journalist digging into the same conspiracy

Prime Video has already renewed the franchise beyond Season 4, so more Reacher is on the way after this run. For now, new episodes are expected to arrive weekly on Wednesdays through the September 16, 2026 finale.
