Pedro Pascal tops Google’s 2025 search charts after a blockbuster year. But behind the scenes, his friendship with Oscar Isaac has led to some unforgettable—and hilarious—moments. Discover what made working together both a challenge and a joy for these Hollywood favorites.

Pedro Pascal has taken center stage in 2025, becoming the most searched actor in the United States according to Google’s Year in Search. With a string of high-profile roles and a packed schedule, it ’s no surprise he’s captured the nation’s attention. But beyond his on-screen success, Pascal’s off-screen stories are just as captivating.

Unforgettable Stage Memories With Oscar Isaac

Throughout his career, Pascal has worked alongside some of the industry’s biggest names. One of his most memorable collaborations happened early on, during a 2004 stage production of Beauty of the Father with Oscar Isaac, now known for his role in Moon Knight. Reflecting on that experience, Pascal shared a story about Isaac’s mischievous behavior on stage:

He played a ghost. He was the ghost of Federico Garcia Lorca, and no one but the main character could see Lorca, and the rest of us couldn’t see Lorca, but Oscar’s on stage, and he knows that we can’t see him, so he would come into your periphery while you were doing text, and just get you to laugh. It was a nightmare. It was a nightmare. You’re just doing this super serious scene, and then you start to feel his face just coming up and all right over here.

Trying to keep a straight face during those intense scenes proved to be a real challenge. Pascal’s ability to stay focused, even with Isaac’s antics, is a testament to his professionalism and talent.

A Bromance That Defies Hollywood Norms

Their partnership on stage was just the beginning of a lasting friendship. In 2019, Pascal and Isaac reunited for the action- packed film Triple Frontier. By then, both had become household names, and fans couldn’t help but compare the two. Instead of shying away from the attention, they leaned into their close bond, often sharing lighthearted moments on social media.

Pascal once posted a photo of the two cuddling, a rare and refreshing display of friendship in the entertainment world. In a 2022 interview, Isaac joked about Pascal’s devotion:

He’s obsessed with me. I try to get away from him, he finds me. Even when I change my number… it’s like a disease.

Their camaraderie not only entertains fans but also challenges outdated ideas about masculinity in Hollywood.

Pascal’s Unstoppable Momentum in 2025 and Beyond

This year, Pascal starred in three major films—Eddington, Materialists, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps—as well as the second season of The Last of Us. While he appeared in more movies the previous year, his popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

Looking ahead, Pascal is set to appear in two of the industry’s biggest franchises: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Avengers: Doomsday, both slated for release in 2026. With such a packed slate, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him top Google’s search rankings again next year.

Pascal’s journey, both on and off the screen, continues to captivate audiences and redefine what it means to be a leading man in Hollywood.
