Paramount+ in April 2026: Every New Movie and Show Worth Streaming

Spring is here, the rain is coming, and Paramount+ just dropped its full April lineup. It is loaded on day one with a massive dump of catalog movies ( like, clear-your-weekend massive), plus a wave of TV seasons and some new docuseries and specials sprinkled through the month. If you feel like a Wayne's World double feature or a Paranormal Activity binge, the service is basically begging you. There are also a lot of BET/VH1 staples landing, and the Matlock Season 2 finale hits near the end of the month.

What stands out

April 1 is a firehose: both Wayne's World movies, the full Paranormal Activity run, a cluster of Terminator entries, Spielberg and Scorsese heavy-hitters (Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, Shutter Island, Gangs of New York, The Social Network), Galaxy Quest, Rounders, Million Dollar Baby, The Truman Show, Once Upon a Time in the West... it goes on and on. On the TV side, Paramount+ is stocking up with full seasons of shows like All The Queen's Men, Love & Hip Hop (several franchises), and a chunk of Tyler Perry titles, with even more Tyler Perry series rolling in on April 7 and April 15. Kids content gets fresh specials for PAW Patrol and Dora. Also worth flagging: a new Cheech & Chong special exclusive to the platform, and a true-crime docuseries with a title that kind of explains itself.

Small quirks to note so you are not left wondering: a few titles are marked with asterisks in Paramount+'s list, and they did not explain what the asterisks mean. Also, they list 'The Masters 2026 ' on April 8, which almost certainly means the current tournament feed for this year; the 2026 date looks like a typo, but I am keeping it as they wrote it for accuracy.

If you are planning a couch marathon, April 1 alone could keep you busy for a week. Then circle April 20 for the new Cheech & Chong special, April 22 if you have kids who love Dora, and April 23 for that Matlock Season 2 finale.
