Off Campus Season 2 on Prime Video: Will It Happen? Everything We Know
Prime Video is skating in hot: Off Campus, the BookTok-beloved hockey romance based on Elle Kennedy’s novels, has scored a Season 2 pickup ahead of its May 2026 premiere — and stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli are set to return.
Prime Video clearly thinks it has a winner with its hockey-romance series Off Campus. The streamer locked in a season 2 before season 1 even premiered in May 2026. And if you fell hard for the first couple, good news: Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli aren’t going anywhere.
Yes, it was renewed before the premiere
Off Campus is adapted from Elle Kennedy’s wildly popular, very BookTok- famous series set at Briar University. Amazon isn’t being coy about why it moved so fast: the built-in fanbase, the juicy source material, and a creative team ready to turn Briar U into binge bait. Peter Friedlander, who runs global TV at Amazon MGM Studios, basically said the show hits their sweet spot of big feelings and character-first storytelling, and they saw enough momentum to commit beyond season 1.
Will Hannah and Garrett still be front and center?
This was the big worry. Kennedy’s book series jumps to a new couple each novel, so fans instantly asked if Ella Bright’s Hannah Wells (music kid with a serious voice) and Belmont Cameli’s Garrett Graham (Briar’s hockey captain) would get sidelined after season 1.
Cameli told Us Weekly in an exclusive that he gets why fans were concerned, then followed it up with a promise:
"We will be along for the ride the whole time."
Bright backed that up, saying the plan is for them to be sticking around into season 2. Translation: they aren’t getting benched just because the story widens out.
The leads actually like each other (it helps)
Onscreen chemistry is doing a lot of work here, but Bright and Cameli say their real-life friendship is a big part of the spark. Cameli told Us that a gig like this would be brutal if the co-leads didn’t click, and they genuinely do — lots of time together on set, easy rapport, the whole thing. Bright added that the set is full of people who care about these characters, which spreads out the pressure and keeps the vibe loose. That comfort shows.
Who is not back for season 2
Josh Heuston’s Justin won’t be in the next batch. Creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide in May 2026 that he isn’t available for season 2. She’s not closing the door, though: in Kennedy’s books Justin ends up with Stella, a character the show hasn’t introduced yet, and Levy floated the idea of weaving him back in down the line if schedules and storylines line up.
So which couple does season 2 tackle?
Nothing official, but the safest bet is the show follows the same order as the books. Here’s the lay of the land:
- The Deal (season 1): Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells
- The Mistake: John Logan tries to win back Grace Ivers — and Grace is already cast with India Fowler
- The Score: Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis
- The Goal: John Tucker and Sabrina James
India Fowler being in place as Grace has fans circling The Mistake as the most likely season 2 focus. But again, no announcement yet.
Where to watch
Off Campus is streaming now on Prime Video. Season 2 is already a go — ordered before the May 2026 premiere — with Bright and Cameli sticking around as the show expands Briar U’s tangled love lives.
