Off Campus Season 2 Flips the Script After Book Order Shake-Up

Prime Video just locked it in: Off Campus season 2 is all about Allie and Dean. If you follow the Elle Kennedy books, that is not the order you were expecting, and yes, the show is deliberately shuffling the deck.

How the show is remixing the book roadmap

In the Off Campus novels, the post-Garrett/Hannah path goes Logan next, then Dean, then Tucker. The series is skipping straight to Allie and Dean for season 2, with Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) presumably still in the queue for later. It is a noticeable reorder, but it fits a TV rhythm: frontload a fan-favorite duo, then circle back.

Season 1 centered on the opposites-attract arc between quiet songwriter Hannah and Briar University hockey star Garrett. Before Prime Video announced who would lead season 2, Ella Bright, 19, and Belmont Cameli, 28, told Us Weekly they plan to stick with the show even as the spotlight shifts couple to couple.

"We will be along for the ride the whole time."

They also made it clear the set vibes are strong. Cameli admitted the job would be miserable if you did not like your scene partner, and luckily that is not their problem — the two are genuinely close and spend a ton of time together on set. Bright echoed that the cast shares the same goal and that spreading the pressure across a team of very invested, very talented people makes the whole thing more fun.
