John Logan didn’t get the girl in season 1, but his next chapter looks ready to score. Off Campus, adapted from Elle Kennedy’s bestselling hockey romance series, follows college athletes chasing love on and off the ice — and all signs point to Logan finally taking his shot.

If you finished Off Campus season 1 thinking, wow, Logan cannot catch a break, you did not imagine it. The show basically left a breadcrumb trail pointing straight at his next chapter — and yes, it is the one book readers are waiting for.

Where season 1 left him

Off Campus adapts Elle Kennedy's bestselling hockey romance series about Briar U athletes fumbling their way through love. Season 1 pulls from book one, The Deal: hockey captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) fakes it till he makes it with music student Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), and the fake turns very real. Garrett's roommates — John Logan (Antonio Cipriano), Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn), and Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) — headline the later novels.

Book two, The Mistake, is Logan's turn, where he falls for Grace Ivers. On the show, Logan spends eight episodes carrying a quiet, unreturned crush on Hannah before conceding Garrett and Hannah are endgame. Grace never shows up in season 1 — but her shadow is everywhere.

The season 1 breadcrumbs that basically spell G-R-A-C-E

  • Logan's Friendsgiving list: When he gears up for the crew's friendsgiving, we glimpse his to-do list: 'Make a to-do list,' 'Pre-wash dishes,' 'Fix oven handle,' 'Get pie crusts from Malone's.' That's not random. In The Mistake, Grace hands Logan a list of tasks he has to complete before she will even consider a date. Fans clocked it instantly and lost their minds in the comments.
  • Radio station shout: In the finale, Logan's sibling Jules (Julia Sarah Stone) mentions having friends at the campus radio station while talking to Hannah. In the book, freshman-year Grace takes a job at that very radio station to make friends. Subtle? Not really.
  • Her name on the mic: During the hockey team's fundraiser for the local youth hockey league, Dean announces that 'Grace Ivers' won the auction prize. She never steps forward. Consider that your 'she exists in this universe' alarm.
  • She has a face: Casting dropped right before the season 1 premiere — India Fowler is playing Grace. So, yes, we are not imagining things.
  • A very specific invite: In April 2026, Cipriano posted a social video essentially asking Fowler to come be Grace for season 2. Fans treated it like the starter pistol for their storyline.
  • The iconic line tease: Days later, the show's social account shared a shot of Cipriano writing a message on tape stuck to a hockey stick: the exact line Logan uses on Grace in The Mistake. Not coy at all, and I respect that.

'You’re it for me, baby. -JL'

So who leads season 2?

Season 2 was ordered before Garrett and Hannah's story even hit screens, but the creatives have not said whether Logan, Dean, or Tucker gets the spotlight next. Cipriano said in May 2026 that showrunner Louisa Levy and the writers expanded the characters beyond the tight book POVs, which makes you root for everyone. He also likes that we met Logan as a brother, a teammate, and a best friend first, then watched him figure himself out before love barges in. Translation: they did the groundwork for a Logan-and-Grace season if they want it.

Quick streamer note

The series is referred to as a Prime Video show, and season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix. Yes, that platform situation is confusing. But either way, season 1 is out there if you need to rewatch those clues.
