Prime Video has scored unprecedented access inside a world of championship pressure and off-track life—guess who’s opening the door.

Prime Video has quietly rolled cameras on a three-part docuseries with the working title Lando, and this week Prime Video Sports UK offered the first peek with a short teaser on its social channels. The series centers on McLaren Racing’s Lando Norris, tracking him as the reigning F1 World Drivers’ Champion takes on the pressure of a title defense.

It won’t just be car-to-car footage. Norris has been hands-on behind the scenes, and filming has been underway for a while to capture his life well beyond the race weekend routine. As he put it, he’s ready for a fuller portrait to reach fans.

“I’m looking forward to people seeing it next year!”

Beyond the track

Alongside the grind of the championship fight, the 26-year-old Brit opens the door to the off-track stuff he usually keeps low-key: time with friends and family, quiet stretches between Grands Prix, and a look back at how it all started. The series revisits his Bristol karting roots and the early spark he took from MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi.

  • Personal moments — friendships, family time, and life away from the paddock
  • Origins — Bristol karting days and childhood influences
  • Inside the helmet — the thoughts and nerves viewers don’t hear on team radio
  • On-track highs — including his first Grand Prix win of the season
  • The title grind — balancing global stardom with defending the crown

Prime Video says the series offers “unprecedented access” as Norris navigates both the adrenaline of race day and the scrutiny that comes with being at the top of the sport. Expect more than highlight reels; the cameras aim to capture the person fans know from streams and interviews, only in sharper focus.

Prime Video will premiere the docuseries next year.
