Jayne Trcka, recognized for her memorable performance in the comedy hit Scary Movie and her impressive background in bodybuilding and wrestling, has died at the age of 62. Her son confirmed her passing on December 12, 2025, though the exact circumstances remain unclear. According to a spokesperson from the San Diego Medical Examiner,
“there was trauma to [Trcka’s] body, but we wouldn’t be able to indicate cause of death at this time.”
Trcka’s journey into bodybuilding began in the late 1980s, but she didn’t fully commit to the sport until nearly a decade later. By 2000, she had transitioned into acting, landing the role of Miss Mann in Scary Movie, which brought her widespread recognition. Her film credits also include The Black Magic, Nudity Required, The Interplanetary Surplus Male and Amazon Women of Outer Space, and Cattle Call. She even made a cameo as a prison guard in Lady Gaga’s music video for ‘Telephone’ and appeared on several TV shows, such as Who’s Line Is It Anyway?
Outside of her entertainment and fitness pursuits, Trcka worked as a realtor in California. In an interview with Muscle Magazine, she shared that wrestling was her first passion, performing under the name Kasie Cavanaugh in her younger years. She recalled,
“I remember standing in my underwear in our living room, having boxing and wrestling matches with my brother.”
She also reminisced,
“I used to chase the neighborhood boys with angleworms; I loved to have the upper hand on the boys.”
