After moving for the fifth time in a year, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck, 26, fought back tears in a candid TikTok on Monday, April 6, reflecting on two tumultuous years that brought two babies and a reality TV whirlwind.

Jen Affleck just dropped a very raw life update on TikTok, and it is a lot. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star is moving. Again. For the fifth time in a year. And yes, she cried, she got personal, and she pretty much laid out how the last couple years have spun her around.

The TikTok: where she is right now

Posted Monday, April 6, the video finds the 26-year-old talking through tears about how intense the last 2–3 years have been: two babies, reality TV, Dancing With the Stars, constant moves, and a full-on identity and faith shake-up. She says some parts of her have healed, other old patterns have crept back in, and she wants to keep being vulnerable online instead of disappearing for a break.

  • She says this is their fifth move in a year and immediately pivots to packing the house.
  • She got married at 19, was pregnant a year later, and admits she has not really had time to figure out who she is.
  • She wants to find her faith again, but also keep space for the core version of herself without trying to change that.
  • She is focused on showing up for her kids as the best version of herself. She and husband Zac Affleck, 28, share three: Nora (4), Luca (2), and Penny (9 months).
  • She acknowledges there has been hate, but says the positivity has meant a lot, and thanks people for kind messages.
  • The post was simply captioned: "Life update 🙃".

Support rolled in, and so did the speculation

Her friends jumped into the comments fast. Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa cheered her on and called her strong. Mormon Wives costar Miranda McWhorter sent love, and Layla Taylor did too. On the flip side, fans also noticed she was not wearing a wedding ring in the video, which stirred up fresh questions about her marriage to Zac.

Context for the marriage talk

Jen and Zac have been open about their ups and downs on Mormon Wives. Season 2, which premiered last year, even covered a brief separation before they reconciled. After they got back together, Jen told Us Weekly that they went all-in on counseling:

"Lots of therapy. When I say lots of therapy, I mean eight hours a week. We really went all at it."

Big picture

Between reality TV, DWTS, three young kids, and five moves in one year, it tracks that she feels scrambled. The ring-free hand is going to keep the rumor mill spinning, but her message here is less gossip and more: I am exhausted, I am still figuring myself out, and I am not hiding while I do it.
