Daryl Dixon Season 3: Is It Confirmed & What Will It Be About?

On November 3rd, Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon ended with Episode 6. AMC has already greenlit Season 3. We tell you when Daryl and Carol will return and where they will go in the new episodes.

What Countries Will Be Featured in Daryl Dixon Season 3?

In Season 1, Daryl Dixon found himself in France. He met the nun Isabelle and her nephew Laurent. Daryl helped them get to the Nest, the base of the Union of Hope community.

Laurent, a boy born to an infected woman, was considered the Chosen One. The hostile Pouvoir group wanted to kidnap Laurent in order to weaken the Union and seize power in France.

In Season 2, Carol met the pilot Ash, and with his help she got to France and reunited with Daryl. Meanwhile, Daryl learned that Laurent was also in danger in the Nest.

The leaders of the Union of Hope wanted to sic zombies on Laurent to see if he was immune. In the season finale, Daryl and Carol helped Ash and Laurent get on a plane to America. But Isabelle did not live to see that moment.

Daryl and Carol had to find another way to get home. French friends suggested that there might be a way to get from England to America.

In the Season 2 finale, the duo went to the tunnel under the English Channel, which allows them to cross the border between France and England. Therefore, Season 3 will show a post-apocalypse in England. However, Season 3 will also take place in Spain.

How Will Daryl and Carol Get Home?

The teaser for Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon showed Daryl and Carol surviving in England and Spain. In the scenes with London, special attention was paid to the new character played by Stephen Merchant.

He will probably tell the duo that there are ships in Spain that they can use to cross the ocean. A sailboat was also shown in the teaser. Daryl and Carol will not be able to sail to America on such a fragile vessel, but they can get to Spain.

Where Will Ash Take Laurent?

After returning to America, Ash will probably not stay at home with Laurent for long – the zombies have invaded it. Ash will bring Laurent to the Commonwealth immediately or after some time. Maybe Ash will decide to stay there to avoid living alone.

A pilot with his own plane will be a valuable member of the Commonwealth. The community will study if Laurent has immunity and if his blood can be used for a vaccine. Then he will be almost like Ellie from The Last of Us – the girl has immunity, and with her help the doctors wanted to develop a cure.

When Will Daryl Dixon Season 3 Be Released?

Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will be released in 2025. It will be preceded by season 2 of the spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City – Maggie Greene and Negan Smith will return in spring 2025.

No other series based on The Walking Dead have been announced yet. However, the head of content for the zombie universe, Scott M. Gimple said that a crossover series with different characters is possible.
