Curious about heist series 12 12 12? Cast, plot, and release date explained
Apple TV’s new show comes with a numbers-only name and enough mystery to pull you in — here’s what to know.
It doesn’t stop when the vault opens. The Apple TV+ heist thriller 12 12 12 slices the story three ways — 12 months of planning, 12 hours of the job, and 12 days after — following a single high-stakes robbery that points to a bank vault in Zurich.
At the center is Jack Strickland, a disgraced FBI agent played by Anthony Mackie, chasing American criminal Paul Galvin, played by Jamie Dornan. Their cat-and-mouse hunt leads into the meticulous prep, the tense overnight execution, and the fallout that refuses to stay buried.

The series leans into the mechanics of the crime — how the crew maps every detail leading up to the night itself — then shifts to the pressure cooker of the heist and the dangerous ripples that follow. Zurich’s vault isn’t the finish line; it’s the pivot point.
12 12 12 premieres November 13, 2026 on Apple TV+ with a two-episode launch.
The season runs eight episodes. After the premiere, new episodes arrive weekly on Fridays.
