Bruce Springsteen’s biopic, starring Jeremy Allen White, heads to Hulu and Disney+ in January 2026 after a lackluster theatrical run. Despite mixed reviews and modest ticket sales, the film could find a new audience on streaming platforms.

After a rocky start at the box office, the Bruce Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me from Nowhere” is gearing up for its streaming debut. The film, which first hit theaters on October 24, 2025, features Jeremy Allen White in the lead role, portraying the legendary musician during the creation of his iconic album “Nebraska.” Directed by Scott Cooper and inspired by Warren Zanes’ 2023 book, the movie also includes performances from Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffman, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz.

Subscribers in the U.S. will be able to watch the film on Hulu and Disney+ ( for those with the bundle ) starting January 23, 2026. International viewers can catch it on Disney+ the same day. This streaming release comes 91 days after its theatrical premiere, following Disney’s updated release strategy. For those who prefer to own their movies, digital purchase became available on December 23, 2025, with home video options rolling out on January 20, 2026.

Festival Buzz and Critical Response

“Deliver Me from Nowhere” was initially positioned as a major awards contender, making its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on August 29, 2025. The film’s reception, however, was mixed. It currently holds a 60% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Jeremy Allen White’s performance did not go unnoticed, earning him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama.

Despite the early buzz, the film struggled to connect with a wider audience. Its opening weekend saw it land in fourth place with $9.1 million, and it quickly slipped out of the domestic top 10 after just three weeks. The movie’s total domestic gross reached $22 million, with a worldwide haul of $45 million—falling short of its $55 million production budget.

Streaming Hopes and Springsteen Extras

While the theatrical run didn’t meet expectations, there’s hope that “Deliver Me from Nowhere” will find a second wind on streaming platforms. Other Disney releases from 2025, like “Snow White” and “Tron: Ares, ” also underperformed in theaters but later gained traction with streaming audiences. Fans of the Boss can also check out related documentaries, including “Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska Live” and “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band,” both available on Hulu.
