Agatha All Along: What Happened in the Finale & Was It Good?
Agatha All Along turned out to be an unexpected success.
The final episodes of the miniseries Agatha All Along have been released on Disney+. The spin-off, which revolves around the antagonist of Wanda/Vision, has become an unexpected success for the streaming service.
William's True Identity Is Finally Revealed
The second half of the season begins with a revelation: the young man William turns out not to be Agatha's son, as the viewers were hinted, but actually Wanda's child. The spirit of one of the Scarlet Witch's children entered the body of a teenager who was involved in an accident at the moment of the destruction of the magic dome over the city of Westview.
However, despite such important knowledge, both the heroines and William/Billy continue their journey along the Witches' Road, each in search of their own reward. Unlike his colleagues who want to regain their powers, the teenager went on a dangerous journey to find his brother Tommy.
Agatha All Along Has Introduced Several New Powerful Characters to the MCU
Not all the characters who choose the magical path will survive, and in the coven created by Agatha there will be room not only for the descendants of one of the Avengers, but also for much more powerful beings.
Such an arrangement should not come as a big surprise to the audience, because from the very beginning the main mysteries revolved around the characters of Joe Locke and Aubrey Plaza. Plaza's character named Rio, the green witch, turns out to be Death herself. And she has her own score to settle.
The final episode of Agatha's adventures not only contrasts dramatically with the others in atmosphere, time, and place, but also turns all of the characters' previous adventures and the value of some of their sacrifices upside down.
Agatha All Along Is a Worthy Project for Both Fans and Ordinary Viewers
Despite all its flaws and rough edges, the story of Agatha Harkness can be a pleasure to watch. Charming characters and especially the main witch played by Kathryn Hahn, funny dialogues are the key to the success of the project.
And the interest of the viewers seems to confirm this: on Rotten Tomatoes the audience score of the series is as high as 82%.
However, the project about the witches' journey cannot be called completely separate from the main Marvel universe. As part of Agatha's adventures, viewers will meet two characters whose appearance can further influence the entire story of the franchise.
But no one can guarantee that the characters of the magical spin-off will go beyond its framework. And if you are not tired of the abundance of Marvel projects and follow everything that happens in the franchise, then Agatha All Along will definitely be a worthy journey.
And for a viewer not so deeply immersed in the superhero worlds, the project will simply be a charming little adventure whose finale so conveniently falls on Halloween. Given the witchy focus of the plot, Agatha All Along may be an interesting option for this weekend.
