Will Loki take center stage in 'Avengers: Doomsday'? Iman Vellani thinks so

On the Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast, Iman Vellani zeroed in on the one player she thinks could hold the whole movie together: Loki . Pointing to where the character ended up after his Disney+ series, she called out just how central he’s become to the Multiverse storyline.

“He’s God of stories now. Like this man. This man has been k***** and redeemed more times than I can count.”

Vellani also made it clear she’s all-in as long as Tom Hiddleston is in the mix.

“And you know, as long as Tom Hiddleston’s playing Loki, I’m always going to be for it. So I think Loki’s is going to be really interesting in Doomsday. I have no idea what they’re going to be doing or dooming.”

That read tracks with how Loki Season 2 left him: seated at the end of time, cradling the branching timelines and embracing the mantle of the God of Stories. If Avengers: Doomsday is pulling multiple realities into conflict, the character who literally holds those threads would naturally be in the thick of it.

That connection remains firmly in rumor territory; Marvel hasn’t confirmed any Battleworld ties or how the Void factors into the story.
