Where to Stream Chris Hemsworth’s Alzheimer’s Doc A Road Trip to Remember Right Now
Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember will stream, with its platform and debut date now officially confirmed.
The new National Geographic special Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember follows the actor as he takes his dad, Craig, on a drive across Australia, revisiting places that carry meaning for their family while Craig navigates the early stages of Alzheimer’s. Shot as an up-close, 51‑minute portrait, the film leans into small, everyday moments as much as the tougher medical conversations.
The trip comes after Hemsworth learned in 2022 that he carries two copies of the APOE4 gene, which raises his risk for Alzheimer’s, and after his father’s diagnosis around 2024. Framed as time set aside to reconnect, the special tracks the pair’s efforts to manage symptoms, preserve memories and prioritize time together.
