Vanderpump Rules alum Katie Maloney gives a peek inside her chic Los Angeles pad, revealing she shells out about $5,200 a month after nearly two decades in the City of Angels.

Katie Maloney let the internet into her place, and yes, she said the number out loud. The Vanderpump Rules alum gave real estate influencer Caleb Simpson a walkthrough of her Los Angeles apartment and basically turned it into a personality test in home decor form.

"I pay about $5,200 a month."

The tour dropped on Wednesday, April 15, during a social media hang with Simpson. Maloney, 40, has been in L.A. almost two decades after moving here at 20, and she calls the spot a good-sized apartment she shares with boyfriend Nick Martin. If that name rings a bell, he plays in the band Sleeping With Sirens. They met through a mutual friend, stayed friends for a year, and then it turned into a relationship. She has since gone Instagram-official with him, and yes, he actually lives there too.

What we saw inside

  • Living room with a fireplace and a 'good-sized' vibe; nearby, a spacious kitchen lined with stainless steel appliances.
  • Plenty of Martin/Sleeping With Sirens memorabilia mixed into the decor.
  • A bookshelf stuffed with 'tchotchkes, Barbies, and randomness' — her words — which tracks if you like cute little things.
  • Wands from Salem and a stack of tarot decks; Maloney says she is a big occult fan.
  • Bedroom: leopard-print sheets and band posters everywhere. No notes.
  • Two shelves of glass fragrance bottles because she is, by her own admission, a scent person.
  • A mini archive of old magazines, including 2000 and 2004 issues of Cosmo Girl, perched over a magazine rack like a time capsule.
  • An extra room with a double bed and shoe racks — plus vintage 'NSync dolls that she openly calls spectacular and everything.
  • Framed photos of the original VPR cast waiting to be hung, even though she is not into covering her walls with solo shots of herself.

There is also some life-history tucked in there. Maloney was married to her former Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Schwartz from 2016 to 2022. These days the apartment feels like a reset — personal, a little witchy, a little pop-punk, and very Los Angeles.

She even got a little reflective about her Bravo era while pointing out those OG cast photos that have not made it onto the walls yet. The short version: she does have fond memories, it was not always fun, and it shaped where she is now. For context, Maloney and the rest of the original cast did not return for Vanderpump Rules season 12, which pivoted to a new group of SUR staffers at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant.

Final takeaway: if you wanted a snapshot of who Katie Maloney is right now, it is leopard sheets, Salem wands, 'NSync dolls, and $5,200 worth of L.A. rent holding it all together.
