Summer House Lexi Calls Out West: Amanda and Ciara Deserve Better

Lexi Wood has thoughts, and she is not sugarcoating them. The Summer House alum basically said Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller are both out of West Wilson's league — and that everyone would be better off dating literally anyone who is not in that house.

Caught by TMZ in Los Angeles on Friday, April 17, Lexi, 28, weighed in on the Amanda Batula/West Wilson situation that has been stirring up the friend group. Her quick take: stop shopping for partners within the same reality-show living room. She called it her unsolicited advice and made it clear it was just her opinion, but she did not hedge much beyond that.

She also did not hold back on West. In her view, West, 31, is punching up with Amanda, 34, and Ciara has better options now that she is not with him. Lexi added that, broadly, the women in that house are outclassing the guys — something she thinks the audience can see — and she encouraged the women to start looking outside the Summer House bubble.

'One part of me hopes they actually last — if you are going to blow up friendships and long-standing relationships, at least let it be for something real.'

That said, Lexi still thinks Amanda should end up with someone solid — not another party guy — and that Ciara will be fine either way.

Where Amanda and West say they are

In late March, after Amanda split from Kyle Cooke, Amanda and West tried to calm the rumor mill with a joint Instagram note (posted March 31). They said the situation is new, they were not trying to hide anything, and given the messy dynamics of a reality show, they wanted a little time to sort it out privately before talking about it. They framed their connection as something that grew out of a long friendship, which is why they say they have been careful about how they are handling it.

How Ciara is taking it

Ciara Miller, 30 — who was friends with Amanda and dated West in 2023 — spoke to Glamour and said the public nature of all this has made it a lot tougher. On top of dealing with the feelings in private, she is also watching what she thought her life would look like play out on TV in season 10. Translation: brutal.

So yeah — messy, loud, and very on-brand for this crew. If Amanda and West are going to detonate the group dynamics, Lexi is basically saying: make it count.
