Sullivan's Crossing Season 4 Cast Revealed After Secret Husband Twist
Sullivan’s Crossing season 4 barrels into the fallout from Cal’s jaw-dropping run-in with Maggie’s secret husband, thrusting neurosurgeon Maggie (Morgan Kohan) back into the fray in rural Nova Scotia — with returning favorites and surprise newcomers from Robyn Carr’s book world poised to shake everything up.
Season 4 of Sullivan's Crossing is walking straight into the mess Season 3 left behind: Cal just came face to face with the guy who introduced himself as Maggie's husband. Yep, husband. Not a typo. So, where are we, who is actually back, and who is taking an 'extended' breather?
How we got here (quick refresher)
Based on Robyn Carr's book series, the show follows neurosurgeon Maggie (Morgan Kohan), who moved back to rural Nova Scotia to reconnect with her estranged dad, Sully (Scott Patterson). What was supposed to be a quick escape turned into Maggie actually building a life in Sullivan's Crossing, complete with a slow-burn thing with Cal (Chad Michael Murray).
Season 3, which hit Netflix in August 2025, started showing cracks: Cal was ready to level up, Maggie wasn't. She even mentioned her ex, Liam (Marcus Rosner) — a summer fling that sounded like ancient history. Most of the season then steered them toward moving in together. And just when it looked like they had finally cleared the big hurdle, a guest checked into the Crossing, turned out to be Liam, and casually told Cal he was Maggie's husband. Cue chaos.
What Season 4 is promising
Showrunner Roma Roth is leaning into the fallout, and she is not exactly underselling it.
"I’m absolutely thrilled that Sullivan’s Crossing is returning for a fourth season. Seeing it resonate with a global audience and watching the ratings climb have been a dream come true. Season 4 will explore themes of change and transformation so you can expect a whole new set of exciting and emotional challenges for Maggie and Cal."
She also teased earlier that the show loves a good push-pull and that a big shoe was going to drop at the end of Season 3 — which, clearly, it did. Promotional photos for the new season are already hinting at a full-on triangle, with Maggie caught between the life she's building with Cal and whatever unfinished business Liam just dragged back into town.
Who is in, who is out, who is complicated
- Morgan Kohan (Maggie): Back, and finally forced to define where Liam actually fits into her life.
- Chad Michael Murray (Cal): Back, dealing with the 'surprise, I have a husband' reveal. Expect some bruised feelings and hard lines.
- Marcus Rosner (Liam): The summer fling who is suddenly a husband. He is the wrench in literally everything.
- Tom Jackson (Frank): Returning; last we saw, he was unsure about his next move. Season 4 keeps that soul-searching going.
- Andrea Menard (Edna): Also weighing whether to stay at the campground or move on with Frank.
- Scott Patterson (Sully): Do not look for him this season. Season 3 ended with Sully heading to Ireland for an "extended" trip, and he is staying gone for now.
- Kate Vernon (Helen): She traveled to Ireland with Sully. Even with Sully out, the door seems open for Helen to make her way back to the Crossing at some point.
- Dakota Taylor (Rafe): Season 4 should finally tackle the relationship tension with Sydney.
- Lindura (Sydney): Her take on marriage clashed with Rafe's, and that argument was not tied up before the new season.
- Amalia Williamson (Lola): Sorting out what comes next with Jacob.
- Joel Oulette (Jacob): Very much part of Lola's 'what now' conversation.
The bottom line
Season 4 is all about fallout and choosing lanes: Maggie has to decide if her future is with Cal, if her past with Liam still has legal and emotional teeth, or if both guys are about to learn the hard way that Maggie answers to no one. With Sully off in Ireland, the Crossing itself feels a little unmoored — which honestly fits the whole 'change and transformation' promise. Buckle up.
