A notorious Australian prankster, previously jailed for storming Ariana Grande’s stage, was escorted out of Lady Gaga’s Brisbane concert after trying to hide his identity. The crowd cheered as security removed him before the show began.

Fans at Lady Gaga’s recent concert in Brisbane witnessed an unexpected scene when a well-known Australian troublemaker was removed from the venue before the show even started. The man, identified as 26-year-old Johnson Wen, had previously served time in jail for rushing the stage at an Ariana Grande event. This time, he attempted to blend in with the crowd by donning a wig and sunglasses, but security quickly recognized him and escorted him out as the audience erupted in applause.

History of Disruptions at Major Events

Wen, who goes by the online alias ‘Pyjamaman,’ has built a reputation for causing chaos at high-profile gatherings. His antics have included storming the stage at concerts for artists like Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and The Chainsmokers, as well as making an appearance at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. His most recent legal trouble stemmed from an incident at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore on November 13, where he pleaded guilty to being a public nuisance. The court sentenced him to nine days in jail and ordered his deportation back to Australia.

Attempt to Evade Security Fails

Despite his efforts to disguise himself at the SunCorp Stadium on December 9, Wen’s attempt to go unnoticed fell flat. Security staff spotted him before he could cause any disruption, ensuring he was removed from the premises before the concert began. The crowd in Brisbane cheered as he was led out, making it clear they supported the decision to keep the event safe and uninterrupted.

Social Media Reaction and Courtroom Promises

After being kicked out, Wen took to Instagram to share his experience, writing,

“Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert. The show doesn’t start till 8pm. The early fans were booing me.”

His online presence has only grown with each incident, as videos of his removal quickly circulated on social media platforms. During his court appearance in Singapore, Wen assured the judge he would not repeat his actions. When pressed about his sincerity, he replied,

“Yes, I’m going to stop.”
