The first look at Ready or Not 2: Here I Come teases a blood-drenched sequel packed with outrageous humor, a deadly new game, and a star-studded cast. Samara Weaving returns to face off against Elijah Wood and Sarah Michelle Gellar in a twisted fight for survival.

The debut trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come has dropped, and it promises a sequel that’s every bit as over-the-top and gory as fans could hope for. The original film was known for its wild kills and darkly comedic villains, but this new chapter cranks up the absurdity and tongue-in-cheek humor to a whole new level.

Opening with Grace, played by Samara Weaving, lying in a hospital bed, the trailer quickly shatters any hope of safety.

“Thank God it’s over,”

she sighs, but her relief is short-lived. Instead of recovering, she’s been pulled into another twisted contest. The old game of ‘Hide or Seek’ is history—now, it’s all about ‘Double or Nothing.’

New Faces, Deadlier Stakes

Elijah Wood steps in as a sharply dressed antagonist, delivering a chilling warning to Grace.

“You’ve caused quite the stir. You married into that family, now they’re dead. What you didn’t know is that this goes far beyond them,”

he tells her, revealing that she must now outwit the ruthless High Council to survive.

Grace, exhausted and defiant, tries to refuse.

“I’m not playing,”

she protests. But when Wood’s character threatens her sister Faith, played by Kathryn Newton, Grace is forced back into the deadly game. The stakes are higher than ever, and the chaos that follows is as bloody as it is unpredictable.

A Star-Studded Hunt

The action ramps up as Nestor Carbonell, Shawn Hatosy, Varan Sarunga, and Sarah Michelle Gellar arm themselves and begin their relentless pursuit of the sisters. The supporting cast is stacked, with Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, and David Cronenberg also joining the mayhem, though they don’t appear in the teaser.

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who helmed the first movie, return to steer this wild ride. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2026, promising even more outrageous thrills and dark laughs.
