Pink hit Broadway with her teen in tow, and it doubled as a pretty loud hint about where her daughter is headed next.
On Sunday, April 26, Pink, 46, brought 14-year-old Willow to the Broadway premiere of 'The Lost Boys' at the Palace Theater in New York City. They held hands on the carpet, which was sweet, and the looks were coordinated without being matchy: Pink went long black dress with a black, bedazzled jacket; Willow showed up in a red strapless corset gown that read very much like, yes, I am here for the theater.
So why all the Broadway lately?
Because the family literally moved to New York for it. In March on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Pink explained they relocated so Willow could study theater and soak up more Broadway. Pink and Willow even performed 'Hopeless War' from 'The Outsiders' together on the show, which felt like a soft launch of Willow-as-stage-kid.
And yes, this is the same family that popped up at '& Juliet' last month at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Tiny nerdy detail: Pink's 2010 track 'F***in' Perfect' is part of that jukebox mash-up. So: family outing with a stealth Pink needle drop baked into the show. Not bad.
What Willow wants next
Pink has been clear about it since last year: Willow wants to do Broadway, and then pivot to medicine. In May 2024, she told People that Willow is aiming for a run onstage before becoming a trauma surgeon. The proud-mom-throughline here is pretty obvious: Pink calls her daughter a 'little bird' with real pipes and wants her to go chase it.
Already clocking hours
Willow has actually been working on Pink's tour. Back in 2023, Pink said on 'Today' that her daughter took an on-the-road job at minimum wage, which led to a very practical pay negotiation. Pink pegged the rate at roughly $22.50 a show depending on how long she ran. Willow countered with $20 because the math is easier. Pink, in classic mom-manager fashion, said make it $25 for easier math and better pay. Also on the resume: their 2021 duet 'Cover Me in Sunshine'. Not a bad teen job situation.
The family snapshot (and the rumor cleanup)
Pink shares Willow and son Jameson, 9, with husband Carey Hart, 50. They got married in 2006, welcomed Willow in 2011, and Jameson in 2016.
In late February, a report from Us Weekly claimed the two had split after 20 years together. Reps didn’t respond to the outlet, but Pink handled it herself on Instagram with the dry one-liner of the week:
'I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know.'
'If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next?!?'
