Nicole Kidman loving her tribute song leaves Adéla Jergová saying, "I can't believe that"
Adéla Jergová looks back on a surreal run-in with her Hollywood idol — and the curveball reaction that almost stole her words.
On her October 22 stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Slovak pop singer Adéla Jergová watched a clip of Nicole Kidman raving about the pop tribute built in her honor — and just about melted. The Oscar winner had praised both the song and its wink-filled video during a September visit to the same show, a moment Jergová admitted still doesn’t feel real.
“I can't believe that,” Adéla exclaimed, visibly astonished by the recognition.
The timing couldn’t be better: Jergová’s single “Nicole Kidman” has pushed into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, powered in part by a music video that recreates some of Kidman’s most talked-about screen moments. The actress said the homage even jogged her memory on a few deep cuts.

Kidman’s support hasn’t been confined to late night. She was spotted embracing the track at a Chanel event in Paris, and the song turned up again during October’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — a full-circle pop-culture coronation for a tribute that started as a fan’s love letter.
Back to witchcraft
Kidman’s busy fall also included a return to a fan-favorite world: she and Sandra Bullock reunited for Practical Magic 2, directed by Susanne Bier. The sequel finds Gillian and Sally Owens facing down an ancient family curse once more, nearly 30 years after the original introduced the witchy sisters.
The movie opened at No. 1 in North America with $30 million in September and has crossed $105 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. Reviews have been sharply split — Rotten Tomatoes currently shows a 36% critics’ score against a 90% audience rating.
For anyone planning a cozy occult double feature at home, the sequel hit digital platforms on October 13. You can rent or buy it on:
