Turn on these projects if you already know Harry Potter by heart.

Only 11-year-old students could enter Hogwarts; all others were condemned to remain Muggles for the rest of their lives.

Especially for those who disagree with Hogwarts' age policy, we have chosen five series and movies about schools where full-grown wizards study.

1. Legacies, 2018-2022

A spin-off of The Originals, which in turn is a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. It tells the story of Hope Mikaelson, the daughter of the vampire Klaus and the werewolf Hayley.

The girl enters the Salvatore boarding school for children with superpowers – vampires, werewolves and witches. There, magical creatures learn to control their powers. But the students are in danger when the locals learn the school's secrets.

Legacies is safe to watch for those unfamiliar with The Originals and The Vampire Diaries. This is a classic fantasy series about a school of magic with ambiguous characters at the center of events.

2. The Magicians, 2015-2020

One day, magician Quentin finds himself in a parallel dimension where the Department of Magical Pedagogy at Brakebills University is located. It turns out that Quentin has magic, and all his tricks were not just the result of sleight of hand.

After passing the entrance exam, he begins to learn the basics of magic. But his friend Julia is less lucky: she fails the exam and tries to master magic without the help of university professors. But it turns out to be very dangerous.

3. The School for Good and Evil, 2022

In the village of Gavaldon live two friends who dream of fairy tale adventures. One day, a giant bird takes them to a magical dimension where two schools are in constant conflict – Good and Evil.

Contrary to the expectations of the main characters, cheerful and dreamy Sophie ends up in the evil school, and skeptical Agatha – in the good school.

They decide to go against the director's will and study together, but their actions cause irreparable damage to the balance of power in the magical dimension.

4. Fate: The Winx Saga, 2021-2022

Fate: The Winx Saga is an adaptation of the cult animated series Winx Club from the 2000s. The plot revolves around teenager Bloom, who suddenly discovers that she can control fire. She enters a school for fairies called Alfea and meets her classmates.

With their help, Bloom tries to understand how she got her powers and begins to uncover the secrets of her past. But soon, ancient magic awakens, and Alfea's very existence is threatened.

5. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, 2016

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a sanctuary for children with paranormal abilities. Some can control air or flame, others can resurrect the dead or turn living beings to stone.

The building itself is stuck in a time loop on September 3, 1943, on the site of a bombed-out orphanage in Wales. All its inhabitants live the same day over and over again, and at night, just before the bombing, their caretaker and protector Miss Peregrine restarts the loop.
