LEGO One Piece Special Sets Sail on Netflix
Netflix released the first trailer for its LEGO One Piece special, giving the earliest official look at the brick-built take on Eiichiro Oda’s hit manga.
The next stop on Netflix ’s One Piece tour is going brick-built. The streamer has set a two-part animated LEGO special that retells the live-action show’s story so far, and the first trailer is out. It ’s not just a visual remix: the footage hints the adventure is narrated from Usopp’s point of view, leaning into his tall-tale flair for extra comedy and exaggerated heroics.
Netflix says the event covers the events of the first two seasons of the live-action series, reshaping key fights, shipboard chaos, and Straw Hat meet-cutes into slapstick LEGO set pieces. Expect brick-built gags, minifig sight gags, and some knowingly silly physics — all while hitting the same plot beats fans already know.
The special is animated by Atomic Cartoons and made in collaboration with the LEGO Group and Shueisha, the publisher behind Eiichiro Oda’s manga. Tom Hyndman serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer on the project.
