Kyle Richards’ Daughter Sophia Reveals the Real Reason She’s Getting a Post-Weight-Loss Breast Lift

Kyle Richards took her daughter Sophia Umansky to a surgery center with the cameras rolling, because of course she did. The 26-year-old is getting a breast lift after a year of weight ups and downs. No implants. And yes, they filmed the pre-op pregnancy test too.

The pre-op play-by-play

On Wednesday, April 29, Kyle and Sophia posted from a surgery center as Sophia checked in for her breast lift. Kyle said they went with the same surgeon who did Sophia's breast reduction back in 2022, and she made her stance on implants very clear:

"I am not a fan of implants. I never had implants. I still don't, and I'm really excited that Sophia is not getting implants."

From there, Sophia changed into scrubs, a shower cap, and a robe while waiting for the doctor. She took a pregnancy test — standard before this kind of procedure — and Kyle joked that they were either leaving with new boobs or a baby. For the record, the test was negative. Sophia also did the usual set of pre-op "before" photos before heading into surgery.

Why the lift, not implants

The day before, on Tuesday, April 28, Sophia posted on TikTok that she's "getting [her] boobs done" and is "so excited" — but emphasized it 's a lift only. She explained she's been on Mounjaro, a GLP-1 injection, for the past year and lost weight very quickly, then gained some back, and now feels like she's finally in a better middle zone. The weight fluctuations, though, left her chest sitting lower than she wants.

She's not sure how much lift they can get without implants, so her surgeon suggested a little fat transfer from her hips to add volume. Sophia said she feels like she needs "a little something" and expects the lift to make her feel a lot more confident. She did admit she's nervous about the hip lipo part — she's heard that's the most painful — but otherwise she's expecting a fairly easy recovery and promised updates.

One more tweak: lip blush

While she's at it, Sophia is getting her lips blushed — a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo to boost shape, color, and definition. She said she's been warned they'll scab and peel, so between bandages and flaky lips she will be "really cute" next week. Expect more check-ins on both the lips and the lift.
