After Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s shock romance, Summer House’s Kyle Cooke jumps on Instagram to squash unfollow rumors, making clear he still follows and tags every castmate — that’s his style.

If you have been keeping score of who follows who on Summer House, Kyle Cooke just tossed a bucket of water on that fire — and then pivoted to a love letter for Carl Radke and his new spot, Soft Bar + Cafe.

Kyle addresses the follow/unfollow chatter

After Amanda Batula and West Wilson went public with their relationship, fans started combing through Instagram like it was the Zapruder film. Kyle (43) jumped on IG on Wednesday, April 29, to say he is not playing that game.

"Yes I still follow and am tagging everyone. That’s just my style — to each their own — so please don’t come at me in the comments."

Throwback to Carl’s big night

Kyle’s post was actually a set of throwback photos from Carl Radke’s grand opening of Soft Bar + Cafe in New York City — a nonalcoholic bar and cafe aimed at mindful consumption. The event was filmed for Summer House season 10, with the whole cast showing up to support, and it aired on Tuesday, April 28. Yes, that Tuesday/April 28 combo is weird; I clocked it too.

The money piece (and Kyle’s small regret )

This is where it gets a little inside the group dynamic: Carl (41) invested in Kyle’s Loverboy cocktail company back in the day. When Carl launched Soft Bar + Cafe — which aligns with his sobriety since January 2021 — Kyle did not invest. In his caption, he went long on entrepreneurship, said he is proud of Carl personally and professionally, and admitted he wishes he had thrown in even a symbolic check. He also encouraged anyone in or visiting NYC to swing by the cafe.

Meanwhile: Amanda and West

Since that episode filmed, everything off-camera got loud. Earlier this month, Kyle’s estranged wife Amanda (34) confirmed she is dating West (31) — who previously dated Ciara Miller, formerly one of Amanda’s closest friends. The cast was blindsided, especially Ciara (30), who described having to live it publicly while season 10 plays back as a major mindf*** and said, in her words, what’s done in the dark always comes to light.

Reunion heat check

The entire cast faced each other at the season 10 reunion taping on Thursday, April 24. There was an audio leak afterward, but Andy Cohen (57) says you will still want to watch it play out.

"This was one of the most intense [reunions] we’ve ever shot. This was a lot. This was a lot. It was very intense, you guys."

The quick timeline

  • April 17: Ciara’s Glamour interview drops; she calls the situation a major mindf*** and hints that the truth has a way of surfacing.
  • Thursday, April 24: Summer House season 10 reunion tapes; an audio leak circulates afterward.
  • Tuesday, April 28: The episode featuring Carl’s Soft Bar + Cafe opening airs, with the full cast showing up to support.
  • Wednesday, April 29: Kyle posts throwbacks from the opening and clarifies he still follows and tags everyone; says not to come for him in the comments.

Bottom line: Kyle is staying neutral on the follow wars, loudly cheering Carl’s sober-business win, and bracing with the rest of us for a reunion that apparently melted the furniture.
