Fresh off a 2025 comeback as one of Hulu’s biggest hits, King of the Hill returns July 20 with Season 15, and the folks in Arlen, Texas, are out to top last season.

King of the Hill is not just back, it is clearly settling in. Hulu turned the revival into one of the service's biggest shows in 2025, and now Season 15 is rolling up this summer with the energy of a family that thinks they can top themselves. We have a date, a first look, and a few threads from last season that are going to matter.

When to watch

Season 15 hits Hulu on July 20. If Season 14 was the warm-up lap, this one looks like the full sprint through Arlen, Texas.

Fresh images, fresh chaos

Collider shared three new stills that set the tone. They line up with where the revival left everyone: Bobby doubling down as an entrepreneur and fusion-restaurant chef, and Hank trying (and often failing) to square his sensible worldview with whatever the world is doing now.

  • Hank and Bobby are running a food truck tied to Bobby's fusion spot, Robata Chane. Hank is surrounded by sci-fi cosplayers, which is just about the last crowd he is built for, so prepare for maximum Hank-face.
  • Peggy and Minh are in a class labeled 'Poetry Workshop.' Yes, Peggy turning her self-confidence loose on poetry is as perfectly on-brand as it sounds.
  • Connie is at Bobby's bedroom door, which dovetails with where things got complicated between them in the Season 14 finale.

Where Season 14 left everyone

Bobby and Connie finally tried to upgrade their lifelong almost-thing into a real date. It went badly enough that Connie ended up in the hospital. The important part: neither of them wrote it off. That second-chance energy is set to carry into Season 15.

Meanwhile, Hank and Peggy spent a lot of the revival trying to reorient to the current U.S. after years living in Saudi Arabia. That adjustment is ongoing, which is a polite way of saying Hank is still wrestling with, well, everything outside his propane bubble.

Hulu is in for the long haul

Hulu already renewed the revival through Season 17. That is three more seasons locked in, so the show has room to breathe and build out whatever arcs it is teeing up now.

The big missing puzzle pieces

Fans are still wondering about Luanne and Lucky. Brittany Murphy and Tom Petty, who voiced them, have both passed away, which makes any return complicated. Will the characters come back in some form, or will the show offer a quiet tribute instead? No answers yet. What we do know: Season 14 brought back a few unexpected faces, so do not count out surprises.

Bottom line: new season, July 20, Hulu. Bobby is chasing the hustle, Hank is staring down modern life, and Arlen is Arlen-ing harder than ever.
