Kathryn Hurley Binged Jason Tartick’s Bachelorette Season Before Their First Date
Before she dated Jason Tartick, Kathryn Hurley was already tuning in—she watched his The Bachelorette season 14 run, thought he was adorable, and even rooted for him and Blake Horstmann, she revealed on the March 30 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast.
Reality TV worlds colliding, but make it cute: Jason Tartick and Kathryn Hurley are officially in that stage where you admit you watched each other on TV before you met. And yes, they are already talking about the future.
She was a fan first (and she is not pretending otherwise)
On the Monday, March 30 episode of Jason’s podcast, "Trading Secrets," Hurley casually admitted she had watched his run on The Bachelorette season 14 back in 2018. She said she thought he was adorable, she rooted for him and Blake Horstmann (36), and she was genuinely bummed when Becca Kufrin sent both guys home.
Jason jumped in with a very niche reality-TV crossover detail: when Blake later met "Love Is Blind" alum Giannina Gibelli on MTV’s "All Star Shore," she recognized Jason from Becca’s season and jokingly called it Jason’s season. Meanwhile, Kathryn originally followed Blake, so to her it was Blake’s season. Labels aside, we get the idea — this franchise has a long memory.
How we got here
- November 2025: Their relationship hit the radar when they were spotted looking cozy at the opening of Craig’s in Nashville. Us confirmed they were dating.
- December 2025: Jason went Instagram-official for Kathryn’s birthday, praising the dogs she rescues and the people she helps, and basically saying she makes everything around her better.
- March 23, 2026: On "Trading Secrets," Jason talked about where his head is at right now — and it is very future-forward.
"Everything in my life is so clear. I look into 2026, what I see is I see light. I see bliss. I see happiness. "
Where this is going (according to Jason)
Jason says he and Kathryn feel unstoppable together — not in a grindset way, but in a we-are-actually-happy way. He described them as all-in on the stuff that matters, good at talking through conflict, and aligned on what they want long-term.
He also mapped out the next year pretty plainly: he expects to be in a better place personally, with marriage and a family on the horizon and a focus on something bigger than social media or work. Translation: he is planning the real-life phase, not just the post-show one.
The Bachelor Nation footnote
For anyone keeping score at home: Jason and Blake were standouts on Becca Kufrin’s 2018 season. Kathryn watched it, rooted for them both, and now she is dating one of them. Honestly, in this franchise ecosystem, that is about as normal as it gets.
