Johnny Knoxville Teases Explosive Return of Jackass With 2026 Movie
Johnny Knoxville has announced a brand-new Jackass film, set to hit theaters on June 26, 2026. Paramount Pictures will distribute the movie, but further details about the cast and plot remain under wraps.
Johnny Knoxville has officially revealed that a fresh installment of the Jackass franchise is on the way, with a theatrical release scheduled for June 26, 2026. Taking to Instagram, Knoxville shared his excitement with fans, writing,
“Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang. We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!!”
He also mentioned that more updates would be shared soon, adding,
“More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first.”
Paramount Pictures is set to handle the distribution of the upcoming film, though specific details about the project are still being kept under wraps. The announcement has sparked anticipation among longtime followers, eager to see what outrageous stunts and wild antics the crew will bring to the big screen this time around.
Jackass Forever’s Box Office Success
The previous entry in the series, Jackass Forever, premiered in 2022 and quickly climbed to the top of the domestic box office, raking in an estimated $80 million worldwide. The film was met with enthusiastic reviews, with one critic from Far Out describing it as,
“Without the restrictions of a pesky narrative arc or dialogue, the film is a laugh a minute, and that’s really no exaggeration. In my viewing at the IMAX, no less, the entire screening was bowled over by continuous guffaws.”
The review continued,
“No matter the stunt, swathes of people were snorting with genuine joy, shrieking with abject horror or pushing their friend in confirmation of the hilarity they had just witnessed. In truth, it was a welcome relief.”
The film’s blend of humor and shock value has long been a hallmark of the franchise, drawing crowds eager for a dose of unfiltered entertainment.
Uncertainty Surrounding the Cast
At this point, no official announcements have been made regarding who will join Knoxville for the new adventure. The cast lineup remains a mystery, fueling speculation among fans about which familiar faces might return and whether any new members will join the crew.
One notable absence is Bam Margera, who was removed from the last film due to personal struggles. In 2025, Margera commented on his exclusion, saying,
“They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it and I just, you couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them.”
With Margera out, the door is open for new personalities to step into the spotlight alongside Knoxville.
