Jennifer Aydin is bowing out of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ahead of season 15, telling fans on Instagram Wednesday, Peace out everybody — it was fun while it lasted, but we be moving on up and out, a day after Bravo’s announcement.

Well, that happened. Jennifer Aydin says she is out of The Real Housewives of New Jersey just as Bravo finally cranks up Season 15 after a long nap. And based on how she told it, she is not exactly devastated.

Jen says she is done (and she is fine)

On Instagram, Jennifer Aydin, 48, waved goodbye with: 'Peace out everybody! It was fun while it lasted but we be moving on up... and out.' Then, on Wednesday 's episode of her podcast, TV Gold with Jennifer Aydin, she made it official.

'I am not coming back to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.'

She thanked the people who were rooting for her, acknowledged the ones who were not, and then tossed a little parting shade: stepping away, she said, does not really change her life either way.

How she found out (and why she is not shocked)

According to Jen, a producer called her right before the news hit to say she was not being asked back. Her response was basically: yeah, I figured. She said the producer told her they felt it was right to call because she had given a lot to the show. Jen appreciated the courtesy, but in her head she was thinking they were about two years late with that call. Translation: she saw this coming a while ago.

Where Jen fit into RHONJ

Aydin joined in Season 9 and quickly became one of the more polarizing players. She locked horns with Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider, and she was consistently in Teresa Giudice's corner. If you watched, you remember the arguments. And the table talk. All of it.

Margaret Josephs is also out

Earlier this week, Margaret Josephs, 58, said she is moving on too. In her Instagram announcement, she said the timing felt right, she is working on a new project (she was literally on set while saying it), wants to spend more time with family, and focus on her design work. Consider this another domino falling as the show resets.

So what is Season 15 going to look like?

Bravo confirmed on Tuesday, March 24, that RHONJ is moving forward after nearly two years off the air. It is not a full reboot. Dolores Catania, Teresa Giudice, and Melissa Gorga are all back, and production is starting soon. No word yet on who is joining them, but Andy Cohen, 57, said on his SiriusXM show the next day that he has a great group lined up and promised they owe viewers a good show. That is the mission statement right now.

How we got here (the recent mess, briefly)

Season 14 wrapped in August 2024, and things were so toxic between Teresa and Melissa that Bravo skipped the traditional reunion. Then, in a twist no one saw coming at the time, the two reportedly made peace at BravoCon 2025 last November. That detente seems to have cleared the runway for this new version of Jersey.
