Inside The End of Oak Street’s Filming: Every Real-Life Location Revealed
The dinosaurs in The End of Oak Street might look prehistoric, but where exactly were those scenes filmed?
Filming for The End of Oak Street unfolded largely in Georgia under the working title Flowervale Street, with a sizable chunk of production based at Electric Owl Studios in metro Atlanta. The studio’s address — 3963 Redan Road in Decatur — served as a hub while the crew also shot on neighborhood streets around Atlanta to sell the movie ’s cul-de-sac-under-siege vibe.
Production didn’t stay stateside: the team also filmed across London, England, adding another layer of real-world texture to a story that drops prehistoric threats into everyday settings.
The setup
The film centers on the Platt family , who wake up to a neighborhood transformed by a mysterious cosmic event. Ordinary blocks become a danger zone as massive dinosaurs and other ancient creatures spill into the suburbs. Early footage shows a family staring down a Tyrannosaurus rex while lethal aerial predators circle overhead.
