Hilary Duff Says Late Ex Aaron Carter Crashed Her Psychic Reading

Hilary Duff told a story this week that starts as a casual phone call with a psychic and ends with a very unexpected guest star: Aaron Carter.

On the Wednesday, April 1 episode of the 'Las Culturistas' podcast, Duff, 38, said she will sometimes check in with a medium when she wants a little validation about where her life is headed, personally and professionally. She made it clear she is not living her life by it — more like: this is fun, take what resonates, keep it moving.

According to Duff, the medium she called does not know who is on the line when a session starts. But this particular reading went from zero to specific quickly. Duff asked how to begin, and the psychic said people would start showing up to talk. Then came a name: "Aaron with two As."

Aaron shows up

That immediately made Duff think of Aaron Carter, her on-and-off boyfriend back in the early 2000s. The medium confirmed that was who had come through — and even seemed surprised by it — before eventually asking, yes, if she was Hilary Duff.

Duff did not share what the message was, but she said she still thinks warmly of Aaron. She also noted she is close with his twin sister, Angel Carter Conrad. Their kids go to the same school, they talk about Aaron often, and Duff described Angel as exactly what her name suggests.
