Grayson Chrisley just unveiled a dramatic bulk-up, adding more than 30 pounds, earning raves from dad Todd on the May 6 episode of the Chrisley Confessions podcast.

Grayson Chrisley just went from skinny kid to gym guy, and he unpacked the whole thing on the family podcast. It is not just a body change either; he is also talking about how the past few years rewired his head a bit.

The glow-up

On the Wednesday, May 6 episode of 'Chrisley Confessions,' Todd Chrisley basically did the proud-dad thing and pointed out that Grayson looks, well, jacked. Grayson, who is 19, said he has put on a little over 30 pounds, and Todd, 57, made it clear he thinks that is all muscle. Grayson broke down the numbers: he was around 134 pounds in November or December, and he is sitting at 165 now. Looking back at old photos, even he admits he looked too thin before—Todd flat-out called it 'way too skinny.'

  • Podcast: 'Chrisley Confessions' (episode dropped Wednesday, May 6)
  • Grayson: 19 years old; 134 lbs in Nov/Dec; now 165 lbs (+31)
  • Todd: 57 years old
  • Family: Todd and Julie share Chase (29), Savannah (27), and Chloe ( adopted from Todd's son Kyle from his first marriage)

The headspace shift

Grayson also got real about where his mind was at. Heading into his 20s, he wishes he could tell his teenage self to calm down. He says from about 16 to 18 he was just angry—mostly about his parents getting convicted back in 2022 on bank and other fraud charges tied to conspiring to defraud community banks. Over time, he says he found a way to live with it. He is not calling any of it good, but he did pull a lesson from the mess: stop burning energy on the small stuff.

Todd on resilience

Todd agreed with his son and said one of the few upsides of the whole ordeal was being able to show his kids what it looks like to stand up to a hard season and keep moving. He framed it like this:

'At the lowest point of my life and the greatest level of adversity, your mother and I stood our ground so you could see this was not going to break us. It was a tough time, but we got through it—just like millions of others have. We survived it.'

Quick catch-up on the legal rollercoaster

If you are catching up: in 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley (she is 53) were found guilty of bank and other fraud offenses and got hit with federal prison sentences—12 years for him and 7 for her. Then in May 2025, President Donald Trump granted them a full pardon, and they were released that same month. Post-release, Todd has even joked about his post-prison look—specifically that the Botox 'didn't wear off.'

What this means for the show

After getting out, the family fired the cameras back up on their reality series, now titled 'The Chrisleys: Back to Normal.' So yes, expect the comeback era to be part of the storyline—and Grayson's bulk-up is very much on the record.
