Explore the full Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup at Universal Studios Hollywood

The Universal backlot is getting a full horror takeover again, with eight haunted houses, six scare zones, the returning Terror Tram, and a fiery live stunt show all packed into this year’s run. Headliners span big franchises and music legends — think Stranger Things 5, Hellraiser, a new Evil Dead experience, Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, and the return of Killer Klowns from Outer Space — alongside original nightmares that range from a 1930s Mississippi vampire brawl to a quinceañera fueled by revenge and scored by Slash.

Haunted houses

• Sinners — Step into 1930s Mississippi, where the Smokestack Twins’ juke joint erupts into chaos after uninvited vampires crash the party.
• Stranger Things 5 — Based on the show’s final season, this trip through Hawkins brings you face-to-face with Demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, and Vecna as the town teeters on the brink.
• Hellraiser — Inspired by the original trilogy, Pinhead and the Cenobites turn corridors of pain and “pleasure” into a body-horror gauntlet.
• Evil Dead Burn — A family home devolves into a siege after a certain book resurfaces and unleashes the possessed; expect tight quarters and relentless attacks.
• Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness — A rock-theatrical trek that begins in Birmingham and dives through realms tied to Ozzy’s imagery and albums.
• Killer Klowns from Outer Space — The cult classic returns to Hollywood with cotton-candy cocoons, big-top weirdness, and aggressively cheerful extraterrestrial clowns.
• Deville Family Funeral Home (original house) — A supposed miracle drug called Ambrotox backfires spectacularly, reanimating the dead and turning a somber parlor into an undead stampede.
• Killceanera: Music by Slash — Fifteen-year-old Lola twists her quinceañera into a blood-soaked night of payback. Slash provides an original score and the song “15 Candles.”

Scare zones

• Fortnitemares — The Storm sweeps in from Fortnite’s Halloween event, dropping you into battle-royale-style mayhem with a sinister edge.
• Hackerz — Chainsaw crews roam the streets, revving hard and hunting in packs with no maze walls to protect you.
• El Circo de la Muerte — A traveling Mexican sideshow pulls back the curtain on something far darker than carnival fun.
• Louisiana bayou bog — Moss monsters and murky paths turn the swamp into slow-burn dread where every rustle matters.
• Shriek of the Banshee — A carnival barker and a talking skeleton emcee a street-theater haunt where the spectacle is part of the scare.
• Crow-infested streets — A murderous family of crows guards its nesting grounds, making the walkway itself feel off-limits.

Backlot, tram and shows

Terror Tram is back on the Universal backlot with Art the Clown from Terrifier stalking the route. This year’s run is set to a holiday-flavored soundtrack by Ice Nine Kills, layering cheery menace over the nighttime walk through famous sets.

Over at the WaterWorld arena, The Purge: Dangerous Waters returns as a live, stunt-driven inferno — explosions, brawls, and all the lawless chaos you’d expect from the Purge-verse.

And keep your head on a swivel between attractions: Freaky Nikki, the cursed character from the film Obsession, will stalk the streets for pop-up encounters you won’t see coming.
