Exes Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Spark Buzz with Red Carpet Reunion at the In the City Premiere
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula reunited on the NYC red carpet for the premiere of their Summer House spinoff — their first public appearance together since announcing their separation in January and after West Wilson drama shook the show earlier this year.
So, this is a twist: Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula just stepped out together on a red carpet — yes, together — while she is publicly exploring a new thing with their Summer House costar West Wilson. Messy? Absolutely. Also very Bravo.
What just happened on the carpet
Kyle, 43, and Amanda, 34 — who announced their separation in January — made their first public appearance side by side since the West drama blew up earlier this year. They posed at the New York City premiere of their Summer House spinoff, In the City, on Monday, May 18. Entertainment Tonight cameras caught Amanda motioning Kyle over, he wrapped an arm around her waist, and they both smiled for the press. For two people currently navigating a split, it was... cordial. Calculated? Maybe. But cordial.
How we got here
The Bravoverse lit up on March 31 when Amanda and West, 31, posted a joint statement confirming they were exploring a connection after batting away dating rumors for weeks. The gist from them: this started as a long-running friendship that unexpectedly shifted, they didn’t mean to hide anything, and they wanted space to process before making it public. They also emphasized they weren’t trying to hurt anyone while they figured it out.
Worth noting: Kyle has previously said he gave West a kind of hall pass for being a little handsy with Amanda before this turned romantic. Not exactly a simple triangle.
Where the timeline stands (and what people are saying)
Since the announcement, Amanda and West have been out together plenty — including a Yankees game in April where they went full PDA on the Kiss Cam. Kyle admitted he was not prepared to see his ex kiss someone new on a giant stadium screen. Fair.
There’s still debate about when, exactly, this all crossed from friendship to more. West insists nobody overlapped with anyone else’s relationship status. On the April 20 episode of his and Sophie Cunningham’s Show Me Something podcast, he put it plainly:
"There was no overlap... Everyone was single."
West also said he and Amanda realized things were maybe getting a little bit serious in February.
Complicating this even more: West previously dated Summer House costar Ciara Miller, who used to be close friends with Amanda. Ciara has since claimed West may have also hooked up with married Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jenn Fessler. Both West and Jenn have strongly denied that allegation.
If you’re waiting for an official timeline, you might get it soon: the Summer House season 10 reunion is positioned to dig into all of this.
