Disneyland trip turns into Matt Damon’s family celebration for his daughter’s birthday
Matt Damon hit Disneyland with his wife and daughters—just wait till you clock the headcount.
Matt Damon spent the day at Disneyland with his whole crew, marking daughter Gia’s 18th birthday with a family outing and matching tees. In photos published by People, Gia wore a black T-shirt with the park’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and “Birthday Girl” printed underneath, while the rest of the family sported coordinating “Birthday Crew” shirts with the same castle graphic.
The Oscar winner posed alongside wife Luciana Damon and all four of their daughters during the trip, turning the celebration into a full-family snapshot on Main Street, U.S.A.

Fresh off The Odyssey
The park day comes on the heels of Damon’s marathon run making and promoting The Odyssey with Christopher Nolan. The family also joined him at the movie ’s London premiere, where he talked about how much they gave up while he was away filming.
“It ’s great because they had to sacrifice a lot too for this,” he told PEOPLE. “I went away for a while, they came and visited, but it was a lot. It was a very long movie, very grueling shoot, and I’m really excited for my girls to see it tonight.”
Damon grew emotional at that premiere seeing all four daughters together on the carpet, noting how grown up they are as they start pursuing their own paths.
The Damons make a habit of turning big moments into shared experiences: back in 2021, Matt joined Isabella and her younger sisters for a Harry Styles show. This latest family day out landed during Disneyland’s Halloween season — fitting timing for a birthday built around costumes, treats and photo ops.
