Clear Your Queue: Every New Movie and TV Show Hitting Hulu in May 2026

April’s almost over; May is loading. Refresh your watchlist—new drops are days away and last-chance favorites are about to vanish.

We are somehow already staring down the end of April, which means it is new-stuff-on-streaming season again. Hulu just rolled out the May 2026 lineup, and it is a lot: a first-of-the-month movie pile-up, a mid-month wave of TV drops, and a few buzzy recent films tapping in later. If you like having options, you will not be bored.

Quick hits before the firehose

May opens with a comfort-food wall of movies. The original Star Wars trilogy and Rogue One all land May 1, along with a bunch of rewatchable heavy-hitters like The Prestige, Minority Report, Panic Room, Sicario, The Departed, Spy, The Other Guys, War of the Worlds, and more. On the Disney side, it is a full Descendants moment: the first three films plus the newer Descendants: The Rise of Red show up day one, and the Camp Rock double feature arrives May 22.

TV-wise, May 7 is oddly stacked with full first seasons of several doc and history series (101 Fast Foods That Changed the World, 10 Days That Unexpectedly Changed America, WWE LFG, WW2 From Space ). Also worth flagging: FX's Welcome to Wrexham returns with a two-episode Season 5 premiere on May 14, Deli Boys is back with Season 2 on May 28, and Medalist drops its Season 2 premiere (dubbed) on May 4. And yes, Alien: Romulus hits Hulu on May 21.
