Charlize Theron brought her real VIPs to 'The Odyssey ' premiere in New York: her daughters. They skipped the step-and-repeat, but they were very much there, which was kind of the point for her.

The cast showed up in force for the event, with Theron posing alongside co-stars, including Anne Hathaway. The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' star did the whole glam thing on the carpet, but the headline for her wasn’t the red carpet — it was having her kids with her.

Ahead of showtime, photographers caught the trio on a busy Manhattan sidewalk. Theron was in the same white Dior mini dress she later wore on the carpet. August walked right beside her in a black dress with white knee-high socks and Doc Martens, hair in braids wrapped into a high bun. Jackson trailed just behind her mom and sister.
