Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Spark Reunion Rumors With PDA Three Months After Split

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs popped up together at his nonprofit’s pre-Mother ’s Day event this weekend, because apparently 2026 wants us all confused about celeb relationship statuses. Less than four months after their split, they were shoulder to shoulder in public, smiling for photos and working the room. Not exactly low-key.

The sighting

On Saturday, May 9, the two showed up at the Diggs Deep Foundation Wellness event in D.C., a pre-Mother’s Day celebration called "A Moment for Moms." Sports reporter Kelsey Nicole Nelson posted photos of them greeting attendees. In one shot, Diggs wraps his arms around Cardi’s waist while they pose; in another, Cardi points two fingers at her own giant grin like she knows exactly what she’s doing. Nelson says the pair strolled the venue arm in arm and made a point to say hello to every mother there.

How we got here (quick version)

• Early 2025: Cardi and Diggs are first linked romantically.
• November 2025: They welcome their first child together, a son.
• February 2026: They call it quits right before the Super Bowl, where Diggs plays for the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks. He has since been released by the team.

So... are they back together?

Neither of them has said anything official about their relationship status. When news of the breakup first hit, an insider told Us Weekly that the pair had been on-and-off and claimed Cardi felt relieved, ready to date again, and believed he’d let her down more than once. That’s one side of it, and it wasn’t from either of them directly. What we do know: they were very friendly in public this weekend.

Where their personal lives stand

Beyond their son together, both Cardi and Diggs have older children from previous relationships. Cardi was previously married to Offset, and she says there was no overlap with Diggs. On the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in September 2025, she described Diggs as respectful, said they took it slow, and talked for hours on end while they were getting to know each other.

Bottom line: Saturday wasn’t a date night, it was a charity event. But if you were trying to keep your ex out of headlines, wrapping your arms around each other for photos is one way not to do it.
